Getting regular credit card not just store card

How is changing the Target to a visa/mastercard going to get you anything.  You already have 4 credit cards.  I would say 5 percent back at target is better than the nothing back anywhere your Cap 1 Platinum is giving you.  I am sure some day you will be back in Target again.
