Getting the keys to my house today - is a CLI request spree a bad idea?

Closing on my house today. I always thought that once this happened that I'd request CLI's and/or apply for any new cards that I wanted.

I'm not actually wanting any new cards at the moment, but I'm wondering if given the current circumstances that requesting CLI's might be a bad idea. I haven't received any adjustments to my limits yet, and am hoping that I don't.

Should I just continue to lay low? My CC issuers are in my signature.

Only you know if your CL's are  low,  or pushing limits for your income and spend.

I am just laying low

I suppose you all are right.

May request just one on my Navy Platinum. I have some additional BT's heading to it and would like to keep the util % in check.

I don't think you're going to run into trouble. But I'd go for the middle ground. Pick and choose the cards where a CLI would be most useful. I woudn't necessarily shy away because of a hard pull, but you can use it as a tie-breaker if you're not sure otherwise.

ETA: Navy CLIs tend to be a good deal despite the hard pull.

Have seen No DP's since December of 2019 suggesting Navy HP for CLI's, unless you call a CSR.

They have ALL been SP when requested via Website or cell phone APP.

My two CLI's have been "SP" .. Just adding $0.02

Penfed wouldn't be a terrible idea depending on a couple of factors.  How long have you had your PCR/Pathfinder accounts, and have you had any CLIs on those cards to date?  If the accounts have been open more than 6 months, have not had a CLI previously and you are willing to HP, then I wouldn't see an obvious reason to say wait.  Penfed hasn't seemed overly reluctant to grant CLIs during the past few months.  But of course, the YMMV disclaimer still applies.

BofA CCR $32k | Chase Freedom $28k | Chase Amazon $26k | Discover IT $25k | AMEX BCP $25k | PenFed Power Cash $25k | Citi DC $25k | US Bank Cash+ $25k | WF Active Cash $25k | Citi CC $23k | UMB Simply Rewards $18k | Home Depot $5k | PNC Cash Unlimited $5k

Yeah from your list, Navy is the only one I’d feel comfortable with, tbh.

I would push the button on Discover, Captial One, and Navy Fed and see what happens. These are all SP request
