Gettington

A month ago, I found an online store called Gettington.  The products looked nice and I wanted a tablet.  I applied online for their credit with 644 EQ (USAA FAKO) and was approved with a $750 limit.  They pulled EQ and report to EQ and TU, and appear to work very similar to my Fingerhut account.  Also, the websites/products are very similar.  Webbank backs Gettington, Metabank for Fingerhut.  I ended up buying an ACER tablet.

Acer Iconia 10" 16GB Android Honeycomb 3.0  is $459 there and fingurhut wants $549 at buy.com its $449 so Gettington seems to have good prices

Re: Gettington

I actually got my ACER for $319, and they raised their price in the last couple weeks.  Probably because they sold out so fast!  My sister looked a couple weeks ago and it was on back order.

Re: Gettington

About two months after I got my Gettington account, I received an email advising they gave me a $300 CLI!  Very quick CLI on a new account!  Sweet!

Re: Gettington

Is there an annual fee with Gettington? I am looking for one more credit line that will report to all three bureaus that is easy to be approved for.

I received a pre-approval for $600 a few months back.  The terms didn't work for me, so I threw it away.   But I'm very glad you found credit that is helpful for you!  Congrats!

Re: Gettington

No annual fee with Gettington or Fingerhut.  Gettington terms are better than with the Fingerhut account.

Do they do pre-approvals online when shopping?

Re: Gettington

i know this is kind of an old thread, but CreditKarma just recommended that I apply here to increase my credit score. my score is good i think. ranging from 680 to 802 depending what i'm up to.

anyways, since i always review stuff before signing up, i was shocked to find that this gettington.com site has all bad reviews.  it appears that all the good reviews are fake.

in addition to that, when i posted about this on credit karma, my post was deleted. because of this, i think i'm done with them.

this is my first post and i'm looking forward to being a part of the myFICO community. -rob
