Hi Everyone,
I have sent several email request to Cap one in the last year asking for late payments to be removed from my credit profile. I had two lates in 2015 and 1 late in 2014 that I was interesting in getting removed from my file. They finally agreed to remove them for me... YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cap One. I have been a Cap One customer since 2011.
That's excellent that they removed the lates. Looking forward, is there anything you can do to avoid late payments? Change the due date maybe? Three lates seems like a lot.
Hi, Yes its was a mess and I have since moved the due dates on both of the cards and I have now started to pay in full instead of carrying a balance. Thank you so much for touching on that point. Because although their doing me a favor being late should never occur.
A few of my due dates fall within the same week. During the holidays, that's presented some challenges. LOL
Big congratulations!
.. I just have all of my cards set to autopay for the minimum due in case I get stupid and forget to pay something... that way, I am covered no matter what.! I PIF though... but, I am human...
I have one 30 day late from July 2014 that I am trying to get removed. Several months ago I emailed capital one EO and I recieved a call back and was denied. Can you share your method?

I do that too. Tell ya what's helped me since I started seriously gaming credit card points is a particular iPhone app. I enter every transaction and it shows the CC balances in red. I'd have an impossible time managing all my cards and bank accounts without the app.
