No date given for when the card is being shut down, but I know people here are nostalgic for Sinclair and this card. Since it's a hidden trade line it'll quietly fade away.

Personally, my commute has changed and I haven't been able to make much use of it lately, but I prefer having a card over the increasing number of apps and bank-account-linked systems to get discounts on gas.

Got the same sad email today......have fine memories from back in the day of getting a 10 cent candy bar and a bottle of pop at the local Sinclair!! The website says the card will be active until January 1, 2024.

Sounds like a massive system upgrade. Now you can use a dedicated gas card and get over the $0.10 difference with the Dinopay app. Sounds like a simplification to me and an improvement overall. Also you still will get a good discount with any regular card you have too. Enjoy.
