Im so HAPPY! I was a little nervous at first, I honestly thought I was going to get declined for having to many inquiries (DishNetwork,Sprint, Clear,Fith Third Bank).
I applied last night and got the standard "We will let you know message". I got a little worried that I was declined. Well today early in the morning I got a response congratulating me with my new card. Im not sure what my set limit is. I honestly think this is the last time im applying for any more credit cards for a while, well atleast until I graduate college.
This is the first month Im going to carry a balance with discover. I just started a new job. Hopefully that wont affect my scores that much.
These are the accounts I currently Have:
Discover $1750 limit ($412 balance)
Fifth Third Bank $700 ($0 balance)
American Express Zyn Card $??? Not sure
IM OFFICIALLY PART OF THE AMEX CLUB
woot woot!!
Congrats!
If you have a score watch with Experian, more than likely it's going to pop up there in a couple of days and you can run your CR to see how much you got approved for.
I app for the Priceline Rewards Visa and was approved 2 days ago. Ran the report today and it showed I was approved for $4500. I haven't even received the card yet. Not a bad starting CL as I like booking my travels, etc...through priceline.
What website do you guys recommend for checking all three credit reports? Im currently using Fifth Third Bank's Idenity alerts. I get all three reports but I have to wait until the end of every month
Congrats on the Zync card!
I have enjoyed using mine. Once the card arrives, you can create your on-line account. Once that is done, you will see a "Check your spending ability" link. (I think that is correct naming).
Hit that and see what it tells you. It will increase with spending and time. I have had my card for 60 days now, and it "authorized" a $25k transaction for me.
Oh, and the Zync card looks cool too! I get questions / compliments on mine.

It looks like my limit is at $250. Not bad at all. Ill just keep making payments to increase that limit.

Wow...so your Zync card has the ability to charge $25k? That's amazing CL.

Congrats! I have a Zync as well! That $250 limit should only be temporary until you receive your card in the mail. When you activate your card your limit will be changed to "no preset spending limit". Check your spending ability to see how much Amex will let you spend though. Good luck!
