If I book a trip / hotel stay with Groupon would it count towards a travel multiplayer? Generally speaking and not asking for a specific card.

I think it would depend on how it’s coded and the T/C in the cardholder agreement (depending on which card).

This is not what you asked at all, but I just wanted to say that I recently booked a groupon getaway. Be sure to use ebates when you buy the groupon. I got $89 back from ebates on that one purchase.

Great tip, thanks! I was asking about travel because chase offers a 4 point bonus for purchases in Groupon. Thinking Of using the FU card just in case.
