HELP...Bank of America Application while EX is Frozen

Hi all,

I have my EX frozen and dont really like BoA to pull EX as well. I wanted to apply for a CC with them and want to know how to proceed. How can I get them to pull TU or EQ? I mean what excuse one possibly can give as to why their EX CR is frozen or why one can't get a PIN to unlock?

I would eally appreciate any insight.

Actually freezing your CRs to make a creditor select another is a bit of a taboo subject on the boards.

Starting Score: 504
July 2013 score:
EQ FICO 819, TU08 778, EX "806 lender pull 07/26/2013
Goal Score: All Scores 760+, Newest goal 800+
Take the myFICO Fitness Challenge

Current scores after adding $81K in CLs and 2 new cars since July 2013
EQ:809 TU 777 EX 790 Now it's just garden time!

June 2017 update: All scores over 820, just pure gardening now.

Sorry, I have recently been a victim of identity theft. I submitted apolice report and under CT regulations I was suggested to add security freez. I then had to mail police report, copy of license, copy of CR to EX to remove identity theft item. Because it was all done through mail, I have not yet received any PIN. I have recently found out taht I could have choosen my own PIN and now I requested EX to do it. EX now state that I have to wait for theirs to arrive in mail and then call in to change that.

That was the honest reason why I can't unfreez EX for application.

Well then, that would be your reason for it.  I'd buy that explanation.
