Ohhhhhhhh I do see an extended fraud alert 🚨 ..... would that stop anything? And back in 2010 we had a care credit card but that was never used and they closed it for non activity. But other than that I AM STOMPED! I see where they pulled TU so I have to wait for the letter to see what there reasoning is.
I believe the extended fraud alert can not only cause issues with applying for new credit, but even making changes (like a credit line increase) with your existing lenders. If your denial reason ends up being because of verification issues, you should be able to call Credit Solutions to finalize your application. Otherwise, I don't believe Synchrony does recons.
Good work.
The fraud alert forces banks to verify information before approving credit. It's simpler to get by without it. But if you feel it's necessary, expect the extra steps before you're approved.

I know why synchrony denied us......hubby had a Jc penny card a fees years back and it didn't go to well 😞
At least the mystery of the decline is solved. Sorry that Synchrony doesn't appear to be an option.
