HOME DEPOT

Are they BK friendly?

If so --anyone who has card how old was your BK?

How are the interest rates, credit limits and terms?

thinking of doing some home improvements--do not have a lowes or home depot card--can come in handy--I AM SURE!!!

I got one with BK still showing from 2000 (but about to drop). Mine had a toy CL, DW got a substantial CL with hers.

Interest rate is typical store card - 21%-ish I think, but we always either PIF or use the no interest no payment over $299 deals. We've run $30K through these cards in the last year or so and never paid any interest.

The statements are clear and concise as to when you have to get your payments in for the promo balances, so no confusion on when the promo needs to be paid by.

They seem to like alot of usage for CLI.

I don't know about BK, but I just got this card last weekend. $7,000 CLI. Terms are:  21% normal APR. (Yuck!) 15.98 APR for any purchase over $2,000. 0% for 6 months on ANY purchase over $299.00.

I only got it because of the 0% for 6 months on purchases over $299. That's pretty spiffy!  The card is issued through Chase.

Re: HOME DEPOT

Well I have a BK from 11/05.  Been bitin' my nails ever since that day I got that 7-10 day message when I applied for the Home Depot store card online.  So today, day 10, I get a letter from Home Depot...  apparently I didn't score a sufficient amount of points for approval.  Booo!  The reason:  BK    Anyone with a BK get approved???
