HOUSEHOLD BANK

Called and advised tyhem that the lousy 500 limit credit card I have had for 3 years is no longer useful--asked for CLi increase and rcvd a letter stating it was declined due to bankruptyc which was not to mention prior to me getting the card--told them excuse was not good enough--asked if they could pull a hard inquiry for review--told them no ---that should not be necessary soft or none at all not to mention I have had perfect payment history for 3 years and card carries and zero balance not to mention card has not been used for quite much over the last 6 mos due to this issue with them---advised if account was not reviewd by time they have to send me a new card which is 05/08 I have plans to cancel cause new companies are treating me good as a consumer--
 
-lady put manager on phone asked if he gave me an instant incfrease of 150 (up to 650 ) with no check of nothing on good faith would I keep account open) I said yes but I would note the account and advise them review my account and show me some love as a valued customer or they will soon be out of my wallet for good--advised he would dfo all he can and hopes to satisy me more in near future--we shall see right---as you know i will keep you all posted Smiley Happy

Did you try the Orchard backdoor number? I used it for CLI on my HSBC Mastercard.

Sounds like you were like me- I put them on notice waited (no change), called again gave them 30 more days and then closed them- 
 
I really don't think the household cards will grow with you-

When I called to cancel my HSBC card a while ago they were willing to bump me from 300 to 750, so Ill bet if you call and say you want to cancel the card they will offer you a decent cl.

awlegz--i have them and they do me the same way. i also have their hsbc discover which i've had about 2 years plus and no cli, they said my card they review, i'm tired of it..i'm considering closing the visa..i have a small balance.in the past few months i had been using it more in hopes of a cli but nothing..did you ask to speak to a mgr?  $150 still isnt much seeing w/amt of time your w/them and i know all about the credit crunch going on right but come on..i mean some of the things THEY do are almost insulting.
