HOW DOES MACY STORE CARD AND VISA REPORT??

I aplied for the store card and got approved for the visa too and i was told that it is two in one cc. They gave me 1.5k for the store card and 5k for the visa. The store cc is already reporting on my exp, but not the visa. Will the visa eventually report too. I have a similar two-in-one card with affaes and chase and they report as two account. Just wondering if macy does the same. The visa will replace my hooters cc which is now asking me to pay af and more interest.

yes you will have 2 accounts report. If you decide to open up major purchase account for furniture etc. you will have 3 accounts. you can also open up a 12 month account for jewelry etc, not sure if that would be a 4th account or just be linked under your store card. But Macy's really likes opening up lines for you

At least in my case, Macy's Visa only reports to EQ & EX. For some reason, unlike with the store trade line, they do not report to TU.

Macy's store and Macy's Visa report as two separate TL's. The Macy's Visa TL does not report to TU.

Be sure you check the APR's on these two accounts before you jump for joy. They are both pretty high. At least there is no AF. Also the Macy's Visa has only a 1% Foreign Transaction Fee. Pretty handy card to have at times. You got a nice CL on it as well.

DH's Macy's reported to all 3 CRA's the first month he received it (he did use it immediately).

His Macy's VISA account did not report until he used it as a Visa (used the card outside of Macy's) several months later. It reports as a separate tradeline and it only reports to EQ and EXP.
