Re: Juniper

Hi....give us some details on what your AAoA is. How many older/newer cards you have reporting, etc.

Also, do you have any annual or other fees on these cards?

Re: Juniper

Consolidating is not going to help you. Once it is listed on your cr it will effect your aaoa. Even if you close it, it will be still on your CR for another 10 years. My suggestion, if there is AF then leave them alone. Even if you combine them they could still CLD your combined credit limit.

Re: Juniper

I used my cards for company expenses like invotory and i would pay in full b4 statment cut most of time and somtimes leave a bal to make them happy i went from charging 3000 mutiplile times a month and paying them off 3 or 4 times except amex they dident like that and today i charg large invotory purcheses like 20000 and pay them my scores are all 757 760 771 two from hear and experian from my bank. sorry for the spelling :-) i never was very good at spelling

My bads are to many accounts has a red flag, accounts with bal has a red flag, and opend account in past year has a flag

negitive new accounts and short history 15 years and 3years aaoa goods no missed payment you limited the use of your avaible credit and you shown recent use of credit cards

i want to gt in the high 800 what would that take a year no more credit apps maybe close a few accounts i only have 5 inq in the past 2 years so thats not too  bad

Sorry for running on and on im adhd and a bad speller :-)

Re: Juniper

isent AAOA determened my open acounts im not worried about loosing cl like if i consoladate my chase card that is a year old with the 5 year old one then the year old one and close te one year old one the aaoa of account should be better right or am i wrong i was under the impresion you take all open accounts add there history up years and months and then divide by the the amount of open cards you have

You are not correct. The AAoA calculation includes all TL's on your credit report, open or closed. Fiddling with Juniper and Chase is asking for trouble. Attempting to consolidate accounts insures that a human will be manually reviewing your accounts. Better not go there. Best to leave this alone.

Re: Juniper

Are you including every single tradeline, including installment, that shows on your reports? And to determine each account's age, you figure it from the month/ year that it was opened to now. So on closed accounts, don't stop counting when it was closed; keep counting until now.

So,

Card #43: opened June 1999, closed November 2005, still showing November 2009. This account is 10 years, 5 months old (June 99 - now), not 6 years, 5 months (length of time it was open.) Don't know if that helps the math any.
