My second statement will be up at the end of the month. I have the chase freedom. What is the minimum time you recommend me waiting until asking for a CLI? I sent a secure message and they said there is no set time by Chase and that I could ask now.

Unless you're in a hurry for a CLI, you could ask anytime. Just know it will be an HP regardless if you do so now, or 6 months, etc. If your CR profile has not changed much since you got the card, you may not get anything much higher (not guaranteed even if HP). So, it's best to wait and see if within 6 months you receive an auto-CLI (depending on usage and other factors), which would save you the HP.
I went ahead and took a HP after my 3rd statement cut and recieved a $4,000 CLI to bring my total up to $5,000. I use my card daily and pay it down to about 3-5% every friday. They love to see heavy usage and thats what I do. I will say though that alot changed on my reports since I was issued the card so my scores were up ALOT! Good luck!

+1.
I agree. I'd wait and improve your credit to get the maximum benefits from getting a HP.
