HSBC Card reporting weird

I just pulled my monthly 3 credit report from truecredit. My new best buy mastercard is reporting very strange.

All three cra's have a different account number. Experian and Equifax are grouped up than transunion is in its own separate account.

Whats going on with this?

Re: HSBC Card reporting weird

I think it is actually because they are blocking out differnet portions of my account number. I suppose it does not really make any difference as it is reporting on all three at the least.

Re: HSBC Card reporting weird

This is probably what is going on.

American Express scrambles the account number, as I recall.

If the dates on the account and balance match what you have, you should be fine.

Re: HSBC Card reporting weird

its normal, since all 3 CB have different style

make sure your credit limit, current balance, date opened, monthly payment etc is right.
