HSBC Credit Card Combine Accounts

There's conflicting sides of the story but in general was anyone able to combine his HSBC credit cards into one single account through their back office? Customer service reps state that they don't have the option to do that.

I have never heard or read of one being able to combine or PC a HSBC CC.

(Not saying it is impossible)

I tried when I recieved my new one with my old gold card and was told they don't do that.
