Calling on to HSBC people!! Can you make a payment from clicking on the credit card and click on "transfer and wire" and pay the credit card that way or do do you need to go to "view credit card details" and pay it that way? Thanks.

ETA: ""transfer and wire" are for bank transfers only.
A HSBC rep told me to use "wire and transfer" to make a payment it's faster and you get credit as soon as you make it and not to use payment as it's a lot slower and will take 14 days for a payment to post.
For a couple of years, I have paid on the "DUE" date from outside accounts,
and also from HSBC savings acct. never have had any issues with any lates.
I do not recall ever seeing "14 days to post" unless it is a new account hold type thing?
I have an external account linked and payment goes through usually next day
Yes, if you have an HSBC Checking account and use the "transfer and/or wire" option and select your HSBC credit card it does a payment to your HSBC credit card. I think it might even apply the payments same-day...?

I saw that on my statement it said that.
You should have a manage card icon that takes you to a page that has the option to pay it. Transfer or wire is used if you have a HSBC checking/savings. There website is abit old school and clunkly and the app you can't pay from outside account but I have never had a issue with payments not posting quickly.
