Re: HSBC Reporting Slowly?

My HSBC account is now showing the latest update 3/31 on EX.

Just like always.  They reported the last weekday of the month, and the CRAs take 3-10 days to update.  No problems here.

Re: HSBC Reporting Slowly?

Cheddar, you seem to be in the lucky minority then.  My score is still not updated as of today.

My EX was also updated on 3/31 (appeared today) for HSBC and Orchard.  My DMB Discover which is also HSBC reported 4/4/08.

Re: HSBC Reporting Slowly?

Same here. New HSBC account showed up on EX today (nice 12 pt gain!), but no go on EQ or TU.

It's so funny how accounts like Macy's show up within a couple of days of approval, and others (yes you AMEX) take months.

Re: HSBC Reporting Slowly?

chuck--- what due you mean what is the corrective action? if i am reading your response right then, what they need to do is actually update my CR's and not just tell me that they did(when they really havent)
FICO2/10=EQ= 564

FICO2/10=6012/10-FACO TU 578;3/10=643

Re: HSBC Reporting Slowly?

Smiley Wink

I sent a similar email to HSBC, they sent me back the standard we update every month...

I just responded and asked them for the truth, noting mine does not update every month, stressing that it is important for a big purchase that my score be as optimal as possible (no big purchase on the horizon for me!) and practically begging for an actual update date.

I also mentioned to them that there is practically an entire forum dedicated to customers complaining about HSBC not updating as often as they state...

I bet I get a standard reply that doesn't even address my questions.
