Hard inquiry for Paypal Debit card?

I recently applied for and was approved for a Paypal credit card since it gives me another avenue to pay cash for something

when I'm out and about. Why the 'approval' process I have no idea, there's over six grand in my Paypal account. I'm just concerned

that the bank Paypal uses (was that dirtbag bank Providian) made a hard credit inquiry? Thanks!

GEMB services the PayPal credit card. Yes, it is a hard pull. I think they usually use EQ.

No, they will all show up individually, the very moment that you apply.

The mortgage ones ought to "de-dupe" for scoring purposes. In other words, even though they're all listed, they would be scored as just one inquiry. Although since you're trying for multiple properties, this might not happen. But I think it would.

But if you apply for credit, the price that you pay is a hard inquiry.

No hard or, for that matter, even a soft for PayPal debit.

I agree with the previous posters, there was no hard or soft pull for the Paypal Debit card.
