Re: Has anyone had any luck with BoA CLI's lately?

I wouldn't let B of A pick up my poop after the way they treated me this yr. Well on 2nd thought maybe it would be entertaining to see Mr Kenneth Lewis do that!  Smiley Very Happy   But I digress. I was CLD 5 figures due to the proverbial reasons of the economy and how they had overextended credit to ppl who weren't using it. blah blah blah. And that means they haven't CLD anyone who was utilizing TOO much? I'll believe that when pigs fly. Then later I tried the O/L request. Instead of a CLI they CLD me AGAIN!  No dice in getting them to budge. I always PIF.  Refusing to do business with them, I closed all of of B of A accts.

I've had that 'Request Credit Line Increase' button since I opened the account. I've entered the info dozens of times but too worried that they'll deny or worse, CLD that and my other FIA card.

Well b4 all this econ crap hit and banks started treating ppl even with good CR poorly, the button worked well. I would get 20% like clock work every 4 - 6 mos. There was no need to call in. Ahhhhhhh the good ol days.

The varied results people get from BoA are interesting to say the least but they have treated me very well.

I have been a BoA card holder since Jan 2009.  Initial CL was 5K. 2.5K increase in April and 2.5K in July.  Both requested by telephone conersation with a LO.

1) The offers and codes are listed in the APR section of you bill whether you use them or not if they are available.

2) Go to the screen for the account. If you have a BT offer a link will appear above the "Balance Summary" and to the left of the tabbed headings.

3) Click on the "Services" tab and then select "Get Cash and Consolidate Your Bills".

Sounds like you do not have an offer. What they are offering me now (and this is almost all the time) is 3.99% for eight months, 3% fee w/no cap and $10 min.

My card is BofA Amex Accelerated Rewards. 9.9% APR / $7.5K CL - I was just CLI'ed on this account - I have very good credit.
