SDFCU is a great secured card, but it doesnt convert. The upside to SDFCU is that their unsecured Visa Cards have easy approval requirements. for what I was told.

Welcome to the Forum! Your AAOA will remain with the secured and can't be transfered. If you close the secured card it will still report as a positive trade line for ten years on your credit report. By that time it shouldn't matter any more. Good Luck on your credit journey!
