I'll try this.
I just requested a replacement card, as well.
@Anonymous wrote:Supposedly you can request the new card earlier than June/July if you request a replacement card online. I did a few days ago so we'll see if that's true when I receive it.
It'll be interesting to see if that's true because I was told catagorically they're not making them yet and there was no way to get one early.
Nope. Someone said we'll get them at the end. Who knows though.
I'm sure they are making thgem already. Per one post at the points guy some older cardholder will be receiving their cards at the begining of april, only a select group of customer tho. And the rest in june-July. I will give them a call when I come back to the US to upgrade to the silver card and see if they can send me a new card now and I will let you know what they say.
No...but I am in no rush for the new card as I hate to loose my little airplane....lol
As for the 50% bonus promo it should come in the next 4 - 6 weeks ..so we will see

I got my 50k miles a week after paying the anual fee which posted pretty quick after opening the account
that offer was terrific, 50k miles after paying the AF! I think you can no longer apply

Just got my replacement card today and it is indeed an Aviator card. Didn't get a PIN though so I went ahead and set it online.

How long have you had your U.S. Airways account? Or does that not affect whether or not your replacement card is an Aviator? I'm assuming that they no longer print the old us air cards and any cards requested from now on has to be the aviator. I recently opened my account on April 2nd, and I'm going to request a replacement and see what comes next week
