I don't mind giving them back the redeemed cash -- and as for now, I don't have any plan for a big purchase. I'll probably call Barclays later and explain it to them the situation. I just don't want them to think my intention was to purchase the ticket, redeemed the points and then ask for a refund. This is totally unexpected.
