I did tell the lady that I'd like to have my new card backdated to 2011 when I first became cardmember, she put me on hold to speak to somebody, came back saying it couldn't be done. I'll probably wait for the BCE to show up on my online account and call then if it's not automatically backdated

I had the Zync since May 2011. But since May I got my only derog deleted so they're clean now, I have 4 inquiries on EX (2 from 2010, 2 from 2011), AAoA is 1yr 3 months (oldest account is 3 yrs 4 months).

I actually don't see Amex that often here in the south. They were more common when I lived up north. I wonder if it varies geographically, i.e. larger concentration of ppl up there who fly/travel and live in big cities where all the entertainment exclusives are, enough to justify the AFs?
