Anyone have experiences with Barclay's Hawaiian Air Credit Card..is there a pre qual?
There is currently no pre-qualification portal for any of Barclays CCs. They pull TU.
If your profile supports the application and as long as you have not opened several accounts and/or have excessive inquiries in the past 12-24 months, scores are above average, then give it a whirl.
My buddy was recently flying Hawaiian, and they announced on the plane a special offer for passengers: first year AF waived for apping today. He was approved, but then Barclays charged the AF anyway. He called Barclays and they wouldn't budge. Finally he called again and got Barclays to do a three way with Hawaiian, and Hawaiian admitted they were promoting first year AF waiver, so Barclays agreed to waive the AF. But he spent multiple phone calls, emails, and hours of time to do it. I don't think he plans on keeping the card now.

I have not pulled these out in a while, but might be fitting for the occasion?

My two cents I know a buddy who has that card and regularly flies to hawaii, ut he rarely uses that card now that swa flies there much easier to rack up points and lots of special promotions on swa cards, and this is even without the targeted bonuses. It's like on the hawaii card use points once spend a lifetime to get enuf
