@Anonymous wrote:? I think the OP is asking "Is Chase good at resolving such disputes in the consumer's favor?" Doesn't sound like a good question to ask Chase!
If I had an issue with a charge, I wouldn't come to an online forum to ask if my issuer is a good at disputes.
Why not? If you read the OP message again, it says:
already sent a secure message to dispute the transaction since I tried to email the seller but they ignored me multiple times.
So OP has started the dispute process with Chase, obviously the right thing to do, and now is asking the forum for the experience of others, just like people ask about the chances of getting card X, and (usually) we don't say "Take that up with the issuer, why are you posting here?"
Wasn't trying to be argumentative. And didn't mean it to come across as "why are you posting here?"
Best of luck to the original poster.
Chase will take care of it but only can do something if the transaction has posted.

So I made a purchase online for $60, but I never received the items I purchased. I used my Chase card... I already sent a secure message to dispute the transaction since I tried to email the seller but they ignored me multiple times.
How is chase in dealing with this?
I actually dealt with Chase on a dispute a few months ago. In my situation, I ordered some USB cords for my iPad ( the extra long ones) and after three days it stopped charging. The vendor was notified, gave me instructions to return the item -and I would be credited. My returned pkg including a tracking number and verified delivery with the vendor via email. Never received the credit.
Used the SM attached my documentation and 3 days later it was credited. I found out by checking my account, Chase didn't send me a message.
Chase is pretty good with settling disputes in my experience. I believe they normally issue you a credit within a couple of days (assuming you are correct). Then they send you a message when the dispute is officially settled. If it goes against you then they put the charge back onto your account.

I sent a secure email cus, since it's Independence Day weekend I figure they wouldn't be at work, I emailed the vendor and I basically got back a message saying "screw you", they never even shipped the stuff/intended to. So I have to wait till the transaction post?
Until the transaction posts, the charge is pending and Chase will not credit something which isn't owed.
Hello.
In my own experience, I've ordered products and never got the item. Chase credit me back the charge.
I few years back I ordered a golf gadget online. About 8 months later I noticed a recurring charge of $9.95 per month from an unrecognized company on my Freedom card. I traced back through my statements to when it started and it was shortly after I ordered that gadget. After some digging it turns out that buried three links deep in microscopic print in the terms and conditions of the original sale it stated that I agreed to signup for their monthly video service. It wasn't even a DVD it was just a website I had to login to to see their latest crappy video on how to use their gadget... an utterly bogus scam. I realize this was largely my fault for not reading the fine print and for not paying closer attention to my statements but a scam is a scam is a scam.
I went in person to my local Chase branch and talked with a banker. She took a look at my account history and told me that they would put a block on my card so that that particular company could never charge anything to my account again and that she would refund my account for 6 months worth of the charges but couldn't go back any further. I ended up eating $20 worth of nothing but I got most of my money back and a 6 month limit seems quite reasonable.
I would give Chase perfect marks for handing the situation.

***update**, so my secure message to chase during the Independence Day weekend worked. I just received a personal call from Chase and they just ask me some questions and processed the dispute and she credited the amount into my account. I will see what happens next
Glad you're getting things straightened out!
