@DawgZ wrote:Ok I have to do this. I am throwing the flag. You post on here with a title 'Help!!! Real Quick! KFC with a question about saving 5% on processed chicken! (mmm original recipe and creamy mash potatoes...). Even if you spend $30 at the bucket palace you would only save $1.50 with your $8000 credit limit card. This title should be save for questions like 'Am I getting ripped off if I sign this new car loan at 18%?' or 'I am walking into signing a loan for a $400,000 house, quick question...'. (mmm honey mustard and bar-b-q sause...) Yep I just saved .62 cents on my KFC meal using my Discover IT card while calling you out.
I'm doing it the flag is thrown! As Mike Ditka would say.... 'COME ON MAN!'
I ordered the new 20 piece Crispy Tenders bucket with the tray of dipping sauces and it comes with 2 large sides for 25.99 (no sales tax in Oregon) 25.99 x 5% = 1.30 savings........ But now I have 25.99 balance on my 8k Discover it card

Congrats on KFC accepting Discover. LOL
Thanks BarryNTexas, that is Ronald McDonald McNuggets! You are right! That's exactly what came to my mind when I saw that picture of pink goop...

@Vegas247 wrote:Is my Discover It card with 5% cashback good at KFC???? Yes, Kentucky Fried Chicken...I'm about to go there now for family dinner...
yes.
A lot of KFC places accept only Visa and MC though. I don't dine at KFC (last time I been to one was almost a year ago), so I may be wrong too.
enharu, I wish I could have a Chateaubriand Dinner last night, but the KFC commercials are sooo good, it put me in a trance to drive out there and try a bucket of tenders.

Have you tried any korean style fried chicken? I prefer those a lot more compared to KFC.
Maybe it's just LA, but pretty much every single other fried chicken place is better than KFC. KFC in Asia on the other hand tastes much better, though it also cost about 2-3x more.

Wow.....I just went to the bathroom, and that's what it looks like
This makes me want to become a vegetarian ?? LOL
..and yes to OP ...fast food is included in Discover's 5% ... I am Taco Bell junkie
Well Taco Bell's "beef" is mainly made of soy, so it's almost as good as a vegetarian diet if you take out that 5% beef
