What do you mean if it's only a "soft" pull?
@ mylow
What is an SP?

SP and soft pull are the same thing. It's an inquiry the creditor can use that does not reflect as an inquiry like you are looking for credit. SP's are good for you and your score, Like Wheaties, vitamins, and Beer. You want SP's.
A soft pull, or SP, allows a creditor/bank to look at most of your credit report without event being coded as a hard pull, HP, inquiry, i.e. - it won't show up on your creditor report for others to see and will not be considered a negative event. Many, not all, creditors give out Credit Line Increases, CLI, using only SP's. It should be noted that credit inquiries, HP's, are inevitable for the process of getting credit cards. It is only a problem when you apply for many, more than two or three, in a short period of time.
Edit: MyLow beat me to the reply. Wheaties, vitamins, and beer in the same bowl?

You could app the Platinum if you still qualify or the Slate but honestly, I think I would cool your jets and grow these to better limits. Maybe use them both heavily for 6 months and see what happens. Cap 1 you can request a CLI on their site after the 3rd statement is generated. Its a SP. Chase is a bit more fickle. You will have to call them. Not sure if it's a SP or not. Others will chime in on that note I am sure.
Watch your scores and when you hit 700 you could app the Marvel MasterCard and Stash. Both are Synchrony and they love to give limit increases. I had my Stash up to 12k before it ever got here and they approved me for $1500.

Your answer is more in depth than mine but mine had beer and beer is like a trump card. lol
OK I think I get the difference. Soft pull is just an inquiry for CLI, but a hard pull would be actually applying and having to retreive the the FICO scores and credit history.
I think 2 cards will be enough for now. I'll refer back to this thread when I think it is time to ask for a CLI again.
@mylow
Marvel Mastercard? Spiderman Mastercard? Are these really that super? lol
