@Ysettle4 wrote:There are so many CC products I'm sure there are even more I had no idea existed, so, I would love the community to chime in on helping me decide. However, certain restrictions apply
- No non-VISA or MC retail/store cards: Already have Lowes and Sams club which is enough
- No NFCU - no military affiliation to gain membership
- No NASA - Closed out my membership earlier this year. They seem to not have their ish in order
- No CUs - unless it;s super easy to setup and they are incredibly generous with initial CLs
- No Chase products - they simply do not like me and 3x return the feelings
- No Barclaycard products - 1 product is enough. I would let their CLD henchmen screw me over
- No Synchrony - only because I'm pretty sure you have to be well north of 700 on TU to get any of their MC products
- No US Bank - too conservative
- No BofA - thanks to my ex and a paid CO from 2014.
Must be a VISA or MC cards only - related to first line item
Ok community, bring the suggestion on!!
I don't really think you need another card, but it seems to me that you would benefit from a cash back card like the Cap One Quicksilver if you wanted to add something.
I happen to enjoy the Barclay Rewards card, too, but I see that you don't want another Barclays product.

I'm sub 700 on EQ so that'll be tough I think
Cabella's is probably one of the easiest cards to get approved for... Although how useful it would be with your current line-up is questionable. People with EQ's in the 630's are getting approved.. I am not a hunter so no need and also another EQ inquiry which I have plenty of already! Although just another bank in your pocket if you want to diversify
It almost is as though u are apping just to be apping. I guess we are al guitly of this one time or another... But still...your scores could a boost...just enjoy what you have, request CLIs and go for the cap1 combination.

@Anonymous wrote:I must ask this question since I don't see it asked already. What are you looking for this card to do for you? Looking at your line-up, you seem very solid with your current cards.
Diversity, honestly. Since I am not apping in 2016 or aftertime afterwards, I'm also looking for a solid line-up and focusing on growth only.
Your lineup looks very diversified. Another card won't make a difference really. If the goal is not to apply for anything in 2016, then a very good goal. During that time, new cards will/may come out for you to apply for in 2017 if you so wish.
But if I were in your shoes, I'd stay put with the current line up of cards.
Thanks guys but the more suggestion that come in the more I'm beginning to rethink my stradegy. Maybe stay put and let what I have grow? Love this community to help put things in perspective! I just may have to stay put.

This is exactly what you need to do. You just got a very good card in the Prestige. You also had a year that included AA from a major bank. Enjoy what you have and garden for quite awhile.

I agree with everyone. One more card won't make a difference. Stay put and work on CLIs and let your scores and credit profile age...

Man, I'd scratch that itch so that gardening for a year would be more tolerable.
How about a FNBO product?
Any cash back cards? Although I may stay put but as I originally sated, I also would like to know what's out there.
