Hi there. I am having lots of problems with getting myself a Visa or a Mastercard on the official Green Dot website. Like every time I go onto the Green Dot website, I click on Get a Card there. And from there, I try to get a Green Dot card for myself. But when I am all done, I send it, and it doesn't complete my process. It keeps saying to try again later! And this error meesage keeps saying this to me all of the time.
By the way, this worked all of the time a while back, and not too long ago. And now, it doesn't work at all anymore. Most of the time, it says to try again later. And at other times it says that they are experiencing problems trying to process my card. So maybe this all has to do with the Green Dot prepaid card website. I tried contacting them, but I had no response back from them yet. And this is not good. I do not have my own credit card either. So I would just like to get my own Green Dot prepaid card.
So I do not know why this is not working for me. Because this is getting really out of hand. Well anyway, so please get back to me as soon as you can. And explain to me on why this Green Dot website is not working at all for me. I mean you must have some idea on what is really going on here. Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated. All right? So thank you very much!
Well first off, I don't believe any Reps from Green Dot will answer you here on this forum, as I do not believe the forum is associated with Green Dot in any form or fashion. But I can tell you that I have a Green Dot pre-paid card that I use exclusively for School Loans, mainly because I do not want them to have access to any of my other card or bank numbers and only want them to have access to what I allow. But I just went and bought mine at Walgreens. There's a ton of places that you can buy one off the shelf, much easier IMO.
Why does this sound like a shameless plug for Green Dot??
Yep, 1st and only post, kinda fishy blaaa
jordanlgreenberg22, RUN AWAY! It's fee driven and you'd spend over $76 in your first year on the card, and that's assuming you never reload it at $4.95/pop.
a prepaid card will NEVER help your credit...
Get the new Suze Orman pre-paid if you want a decent pre-paid!
I would still rather try for secured but if you just don't trust yourself to handle anything that won't let you charge if you don't load it with real cash, then go suze orman card but green-dot.... TERRIBLE!!
