Help on CITI PLATINUM SELECT PreApproval ?

Hi Everybody
Good Morning

I got a pre approval CITI for CITI PLATINUM SELECT CC with 0% APR upto Sep'08 after that 12.99%.
Presently I have 3 CCs with 3K-7K(DCU,CHASE & BOA) CLs,my current lowest apr is 9.99% from chase.
My question is is it worth to apply for this citi plat select with 12.99%
can I get CL minimum of 3K???
Can I wait for a better offer from citi?

Suggestions plzz

I assume you received a preapproved mail offer.  Usually, once you receive an offer for one Citi card, you'll also, within a very short period of time, begin to receive preapproved offers for other Citi cards.  Be patient, and see if you receive any other offers from Citibank.  Take note of the Platinum Select offer's expiration date.  Then make a decision. 

I have no idea what type of credit line you can expect from Citi.

If your scores are good you can go to there site and app for the platinum select or other cards for 0%

for 12 billing cycles.

That's basically what happened with me. I received two offers within a short period of time, applied and was approved for both. I was surprised I was approved for the second one, considering I was just approved for the first one a week earlier. I thought there would be some waiting period.

I just got a CitiPS after responding to a mail offer I'd sat on for several weeks-It was 12mo 0% then 9.9. They gave cl of 3500. Just days after approval, I recieved a pre-appr in the mail for Citi Diamond. Didn't ap for that though. Scores are: TU723/EX693/EQ694

Hi_All, what are your FICO scores like?  It seems like lately they have been pulling TU for a lot of people.

psychic made a great suggestion. Hold off for a little while, and see what other offers you may receive.

I had the same experience as Lyssa. Received a pre-app in the mail for a CashReturns card....applied and approved, then 3 days later received a pre-app for the Diamond Preferred....here again applied and approved. Both with very nice opening cl's.

I don't think they like collections, charge offs, lates less than one year old, and 'probably' BK though. Keep that in mind.

For my Credit Cards, AA Bronze, HHonors they pulled TU and approved. When I asked for Dividend Amex they said I have to wait for 60 days. For FlexLOC and Installment Loan they pulled EX and denied both apps.

Hi Frnds

I don't know FICO score,bcoz I got my first cc in Nov'07 means around 4 1/2 months back.I tried to pull my FICO score from MyFICO but bcoz of my new credit history,They couldn't provide my FICO score.
But I have been involved in Ad on(joint) CC accounts from march'07,thats why I got CCs with 7K(BOA in Nov'07),3.6K(Chase in Jan'08) & 3K(DCU in Feb'08).

They asked me to wait for 6 months something.But my True Credit score in Jan'08 was around 750.
I will wait for other offers from CITI,this offer's expiry date is 04/15/08.

Which is a better CC offer from CITI?

If I had to pick and choose a recommendation, I'd suggest the Diamond Preferred. No AF, 9.99 APR. This was the 2nd pre-approval I received. I applied online and received a $7,500 opening cl. I also believe the card doesn't require the FICO score that other cards do. That's just MY opinion though. YMMV.

HI_All, if you've received cards from BoA with a great opening cl, then I suggest that you DO have a FICO score. What is the date of your most recent FICO pull?
