Help please... i applied for the wrong CC..

Ok so i was wanting to apply for the Amazon Credit Card, but i wanted to get the special offers of 0% financing for 12 months as long as it’s paid in full. Well turns out i applied for the “amazon prime credit card” by chase and now I’m screwed.. they accepted me for a limit of 1k but i don’t want to use it because of the interest it would carry. Would be making a $700 purchase. Is there anything that i can do? It was confusing because there is like 5 different cards. The one i want is the “amazon store card” ugh so frustrating. Thank god I️ looked though and didn’t buy the laptop.

Oh in that case i can wait.. thought I️ was screwed.. i probably would have got a higher credit limit with synchrony too because I️ already have them with rooms to go and they just increased my limit to 10k even tho I️ haven’t used it in years. Lol

Actually I'm pretty sure the Amazon prime card gives you 0% financing for so many months. on purchases over a certain amount you can pick that in lieu of 5% back. Forgot exactly how you select that option but dig around.

So will I️ be able to make a purchase at any time and get the offers? Or is it hit or miss? Also will they update it automatically?

I was looking and I️ couldn’t find anything.. glad I️ didn’t just impulse buy it.. there was no option for special financing or anything

I think it automatically applies the APR when you make the qualifing purchases on Amazon.com. There is a post on the forum a few months ago when the mailers went out. I think I tossed mine. I think it was titled "Amazon prime card is about to get better" or something like that.

Chase is going to be offering permanent, promotional financing starting on May 25.
0% over 250 for 12 mo
0% over 500 for 18 mo

So glad i didn’t get screwed... just gotta wait 10 more days. Really glad I️ looked it all over and didn’t go through with that.. can’t wait for the 25th!
