Help upgrading from Amex Green to Gold

So on Friday I applied and was instantly approved for an American Express Green. However, after I applied I realized that the Gold would be much more beneficial to me since I go to a lot of events in Los Angeles and the early ticket availability would be a HUGE plus. I know that generally you need to wait 13 months for a product change with American Express, but since I haven't even activated my card yet, do you guys think I could quickly switch to Gold? Should I call the executive office? Any help is greatly appreciated.

My credit scores: EX 749 TU 714 EQ 732

Current cards: CSP $6500 | Discover it $7000 | Chase Freedom $3500

You wont get the bonus for the Green. Just app for the Gold, with your score, i don't see why they won't approve it. App for the Gold and Call in to cancel the Green, or call in to cancel the Green and inform them that you want the Gold instead (and the gold sign up bonus)
