So I got my Blue card today by AMEX. It's a 1.5k CL. My question is I want to buy some concert tickets. Total is $575.00 Is that too big of a charge to put on the card for being such a new customer? While it be flag? I dont wasnt a FR from them. Any suggestions ?
I don't have Amex, but I can't see it being any sort of problem. If your near maxing out the card then I would make a payment to get the balance down some. They want you to use your card.
You are good to go, but remember your UTL %! Pay a chunk before the statement rolls if you can.
You could charge your full limit if you want, just pay in full or even before statement cuts.

If you want a chance at a CLI after 61 days then I suggest paying in full if possible, or most of it. AMEX will do several "account reviews" during this period to see how you handle your card, so it's in your best interest to make sure your statement balances are kept to a minimum...
How do I know when the statement cuts? I want to pay in full. Before it shows up on my credit report
