Does anyone have the Exec number for Capital One? I've reviewed the threads and also checked the back door tns but not sure which number to call for the Exec office I called the Senior Escalation tn and received no help. I tried to request a CLI from Capital one a few weeks ago and was denied the denial letter came stating " This Capital One account is not currently eligible for a credit line increase upon request. We're reviewing our policy for increasing credit limits. While we do this, we won't be able to offer you more credit." The letter did provide me with my equifax credit score which shows 705. With the denial even though I dont have any thing bad on my credit report I thought I would get more specific details as to why I was denied. I did call Capital One and spoke with a rep that basically told me they could not increase my CLI at this time because of their policy. What that is I still don't know! Can someone PM me the exec tn so I can try to recon or do you think I should just walk away.

Finally got reply from EO on Monday. After answering all the questions he said he will get back to me either way in 3-5 days, I checked my account online and it seemed like they only gave me a $500 increase. Far less than what I asked for (6500) I currently have a 3000 cl. Well I guess I will wait and try again. While I was apping I did apply for Amex BCE and Chase and both gave me a $6000 credit limit. I'm working on another cli from BMO Harris bank. Thanks to this forum for all the information and help.
