I just applied for a Cap1 cash reward CC and went thru the whole freaking process then when
I hit the last enter button where it proccess your application the page didn't display.
You know.." Your web browser couldn't display this page " nonsense.
What should I do..wait or do over ?
Thanks
Well Cap1 showed up on my EX right away !
Hasn't showed up on myfico
Should I wait and see if card is sent to me ..if yes... how long does it normally take
to arrived ?
Thanks
You should call them. I'm sure they'll tell you the status of your application.
Give them a call and ask about your application and if it was approved.
I just called them and they wouldn't do anything...didn't even want my name . I told
them their inquiry is showing on my CR and they should know if it was approved.
She said I'll give you the 800 number to call back in 4 BD's...**bleep** ?
I told them I don't want the number.
The whole idea to check online is to get the answer right away.
Can I get this hard inquiry deleted being their system didn't give me the answer after going thru the whole process ?
Another thing..why am I paying for myfico SW when it didn't alert me ? EX was all over it in minutes .

Well then, go back to their site and check on line? Is there some sort of "check application status" button? It's possible that it wasn't their website, but a problem with your computer/browser? You won't likely be able to have the inquiry removed as you applied for credit with them, and they have a permissable purpose.

You're extremely unlikely to get the inquiry removed. There is no basis to dispute an inquiry because you thought you'd get an instant decision. You don't always get an instant decision in any event, sometimes the response you get is that they could not approve your application in 60 seconds and will send you a decision in X number of days. Perhaps there was some miscommunication between you and the CSR, and her response that you should call back in 4 business days is an indication that your app is still being processed and that there has not yet been a decision.
If they reported to EQ, typically they do report to all three, you should get an SW alert shortly. Things get reported to the different CRAs at different times and then it takes some time for the CRA to update its info. So first it has to get reported to EQ, then EQ has to update. Then, SW can see the inquiry to send you an alert. There's probably also some potential delay in SW's monitoring. For example, I believe it only checks your report once a day. So if it already checked for the day, it's not going to alert you to the inquiry until at least tomorrow. No place to check on their website other than saying you will be notified in 7-10 BD's.
Tell you one thing ...I tested Experian's alert system by changing some silly things thru out the day and it alerted me every
single time in minutes.

Sounds like you just need to wait 7-10 days. You can't get an inquiry removed because you didn't get an instant decision.

The 7-10 business days message is your answer, and they will most likely notify you of their decision by mail. You weren't instantly approved. Unforunately, this message usually means that you were denied, based on the experiences of a lot of people here. Not always, but it doesn't look good.
