High limit, 0 % intro APR cards?

Hi all,

My husband is super anti-credit card. But he needs a high limit, 0% intro APR card. His scored are over 800. He has a USAA card, kay jewelers and a furniture store card. Any suggestions? Utilization is probably around 0-1%. Thanks in advance.

First, what's a high limit... Second, does he already have other cards that would meet the "high limit" threshold? Some lenders are hesitant to be the first to offer a large limit. It's more something you build to.

Banks are much more likely to match other cards that you already have than offer you more

At least $15k. He has Lowes which is 15k and USAA just upped his card to 20k. I'm guessing the others are around at least $7k.

Navy Federal credit card! Depending on profile, I've seen people get $25k SLs.

+1 Would also recommend one of the AMEX cards like the BCE as well. Even if it doesn't start as a high limit depending on the SL in 61 days you can turn it into one fairly quickly.

Navy would’ve been my first choice if they had a 0 APR offer on any of their cards. But they don’t.

Ah, you're right. Current offers is 1.99% for 12 months. Could have sworn they had 0% intro offers for some of their cards.

Unfortunately there's no guarantee of a high SL that the OP is looking for.

Maybe add Chase as well but that goes back to the reason I just stated with Disco on being hit or miss for the SL.

IMHO, If DH is anti credit cards, and his scores are 800+, I’m confused as to why get a CC at all if he doesn’t want it.
