Highest possible credit line Amex BCP

Hey,
I got 65K on my BCP right now and I'm up for a 3x request. Is it possible to get that card to 195K ???
What is the highest credit line you've seen for the BCP so far? Income 250K overall credit lines at all lenders at 250K, all cards paid of every month.

I thought Amex Credit Cards capped at either $100k or $250k... but I don't think I have ever seen even $100k here on myfico.

I thought Amex Credit Cards capped at either $100k or $250k... but I don't think I have ever seen even $100k here on myfico.

There was a guy a while back that had it to $99,000. Let me see if I can find the thread.

I've now seen it on all on this forum. Why not just go for the gusto and ask for 1.9 million?

Why is this much different from the endless "must get CLI" "card must grow with me" posts we see all the time. Most people have no real use for $20K cards but still request CLIs. The same (bad IMO) arguments apply to this as to those.

I'm sure at the 250k point, they'll tell you if you want more, apply for a charge card.

Any lender who would give you a 250k limit on a revolving credit card when your income is 250k wouldn't be the brightest, no matter what your credit score is. At least with the charge card, they'll know you'll pay it off in full, or else they'll close your card and send you to collections.

I agree with longtimelurker's post above. The numbers are all relative. If your salary is $50k a year and you have a $15k card that you wish was twice that at $30k, that's the same as the OP having a $75k card and wanting it to be $150k... your numbers are simply 1/5 of his. There are people out there with number 1/5 of yours that feel the same way about you.
