So I came home today to FIFTEEN pre qualified to apply mailers from Citi.
The offers range from the Simplicity to the AA World MasterCard. I got 5 each for Thank You Preferred, Simplicity, and AA World.
I feel like Dumbledore is trying to tempt me out of the garden. It's a bit like that mail scene in the first HP movie!
They all have the same mailing date so I am guessing their system is glitchy.
So not that I'm itchy, BUT...are any of these worth adding to my profile? I have a 10k CSP, 7.5k Freedom, and assorted store cards that are all aging nicely. I recently got BCP for 11k, Barclay World for 7.5k, and Discover for 4k. I already have a Home Depot card backed by Citi for $7200. I have an Ink, too. I'm intrigued, though I don't really need it, and am not likely to app. I'm more worried about pushing my Barclay luck at this point, plus there is that Amex CLI in a couple of months. I also did NOT have any offers last I checked online, though that's a recent development. I don't have a lot of INQs, 1-3 on each. I could use the balance transfer for my Ink, so that's a thought.
Thoughts?!?
Would any of those cards benefit you?? If you have a goal in the garden I would stick to it if their isn't an offer worthy of stepping out (nice signing bonus).

Oops. Myjourney...fix me a drink in the garden. While I'm super tempted, the risk of losing the Barclay or not getting a nice Amex CLI is keeping me pretty grounded.
@Anonymous super awesome signing bonuses, though I thought @Anonymous found a good one for TYP?
Good choice you have an amazing list of new accounts...Thought i might have to call out the team but you're ok i see.
When I get 2 in a day i'm happy so I understood
15 wow what a day
You already have plenty of cards IMO and they're great, prime cards too.
Citi has recently been mailing the crap out of me with Simplicity and Discover also sends me a preapproval about once a week (on top of the nonstop Discover ads I receive on the internet). Leave me alone, I don't want your card lol

You can opt-out if your not wanting pre approvals.... ![]()

Is it wrong that I love getting them? It was a mighty long time with just the crickets achirpin' in my mailbox!
But I'm happy with what I've got. I was happy enough with just my Freedom and then my CSP, so for me it's a perspective thing. I'm actually worried about how I'm going to remember to rotate all of them for use. Lol!
If I app for anything before 2014, it will be more Amex, and only because of the CLI potential and backdating--they backdated my card to 1994!
Assign a recurring charge to each and autopay.
