Is it wrong that I love getting them? It was a mighty long time with just the crickets achirpin' in my mailbox!

But I'm happy with what I've got. I was happy enough with just my Freedom and then my CSP, so for me it's a perspective thing. I'm actually worried about how I'm going to remember to rotate all of them for use. Lol!

If I app for anything before 2014, it will be more Amex, and only because of the CLI potential and backdating--they backdated my card to 1994!

No its quite nice to feel wanted Smiley Wink

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Holy mailers, Citi!

Citi has been flooding my mailbox as well, but none of the offers are enticing. It's usally just the same 18 months 0% APR deal, without a special sign up bonus.

Re: Holy mailers, Citi!

I know how you feel, both my sister and I get almost daily mailings from citi "preselected" offers for all kinds of cards. They've been hammering me with simplicity. Chase finally stopped sending me weekly BT checks for my two cards! Smiley Very Happy

Re: Holy mailers, Citi!

I think CIti has me blacklisted from a screw up on a student card in college... Couldn't tell you when I got a offer from them last but I bet it was that card I messed up on....

Chase sends me a pre-selected offers once a week. I keep them stacked up and in case of an emergency need for credit, I have an offer on hand. The card types vary but Im pretty sure I saw a slate offer!

But I really don't think I am qualified for their cards at all. I think I am on the cusp of good/great credit because I occassionally get an offer for some low limit, high fee starter cards too.

Current Debt Management:
$15k Trinity Financial Management (scheduled pay off late 2021)
$10k NFCU
$350/mth Bridgecrest Auto Loan
Goals: Pay off credit card debt & buy a new home before end of 2020

Long Term Debt:
Fed Loans - $150k
Navient - $100k

Taking a "if God don't do it, it won't get done..." approach to paying these off.

You already have plenty of cards IMO and they're great, prime cards too.

Citi has recently been mailing the crap out of me with Simplicity and Discover also sends me a preapproval about once a week (on top of the nonstop Discover ads I receive on the internet). Leave me alone, I don't want your card lol

You can opt-out if your not wanting pre approvals.... Smiley Wink

I'm opted out but I still get the CITI pre-approved by mail 3 times a month.

Re: Holy mailers, Citi!

I always opt-out of information sharing  (credit cards, bank accounts, too), and I've only ever gotten one mailer, a Discover, actually. Maybe Citi got your name from another bank?

Lisa: I wish I had your problem. Smiley Happy

For me it's Amex spamming pre-qual mailers to three different people, none of whom live here and haven't in more than a decade if ever based on the prior tenant and me.

Not certain how they all wound up in my mailbox but it is both slightly amusing and irritating. Would be nice to get my own occasionally outside of Credit One and "insert deep subprime loan pusher name here" mailings.

Most recent was a line of credit which charged a 10% flat transaction fee, and then some interest rate on the balance on top of it.

Paying my summer session bill on that, $250 and interest, on BCP, wound up like $40 with the usual grace period. Go go high balance setting and CLI chasing! Smiley Happy
