Home Depot CC 10% off or 0% APR on purchase made through 12/31

Just got this emailed offer with individual codes on my Home Depot consumer card:

10% off purchases* made on the card through 12/31/21, maximum discount $200.

or:

up to 24 months 0% APR financing (12 months $299-$998, 18 months $999-$1998, 24 months $1999 or more)

*while the email says "purchases", the details for the offers each specifically state that the offer code can only be used once either in-store or online.

That's a cool offer.

Does this card not already offer 0% financing over time?

Yes, as limited-time promotional offers extended several times each year.   This one is different than the norm because it also has a 10% off option.

Re: Home Depot CC 10% off or 0% APR on purchase made through 12/31

I receive that offer several times per year, sometimes with the 10% alternative, sometimes not.

In the past I was always glad to receive it at this time of year because the Christmas decorations are 50% off at Home Depot. I always purchase those items and especially the larger outdoor stuff like reindeer and sleigh just after Christmas on big sale, then set it aside for debut the following year. This offer meant I was getting an additional 10% off.

I've done that several times but right now I can't say I'm in need of anything else. This year my burgundy cotton crepe myrtle tree was wondering why it was suddenly loaded up with huge bulbs and lights and icycles and chimes. Previously it could rest through the holidays while all the shrubs were troubled.
