I just wanted to let everyone know that if you open up a home depot card and you get say a low starting limit like myself ($500). Activate your card and have the person transfer you customer service and explain to CSR person that you need a appliance or have some major renovations and that you need a higher limit. I'm in the market for a new washer/dryer set. I told the CSR I wanted a $2000 limit and she then told me she needed to check with an analyst. I told her I did not want another credit pull and she told me that if you are requesting the increase within 30 days of your initial application there will not be another hard pull. She came back on the line and said "go get your washer and dryers your limit is now $2000". The voice in my head was saying HOLLA!!
