Hooters CLI

My mom has a Hooters card with a $1000 limit and she's had this card since July 2007. Just got her statement this month and she received a $200 CLI so her total CL is $1200. This was for 'paying on time' for the last 5 months or so. We don't know if they did a soft or hard pull on her credit or even if they did one. I'm inclined to think they didn't since she was just approved for a line of credit with BOFA for $15000 but, hey, I could be wrong. We haven't pulled her CR to look at.

I also have a Hooters card with a limit of $1000 since Oct 2007 so maybe when I hit the 5 or 6 month mark, they'll give me a CLI.

Great news for your Mom.

I'm with you and your Oct 07 Hooter's card as I got mine in Oct as well, $1850 CL and I am hoping for a CLI after 6 months. Not sure what the upcoming days will bring given the "credit crisis" but will remain optimistic.

Hooter's does review monthly.

 I can see the soft pulls on mine. I doubt she will have a hard pull on her reports.

LOL! She didn't even know what that meant until I explained it to her. We only got the card in the beginning to further her creditworthiness and now that she has excellent scores, I'm thinking we might put the card in the sock-drawer or even cancel it. She'd be too embarrased to use it in public! But after her little CLI, I think we'll keep it......hidden.
