Hooters CLI???????????

Hello Forum!

Today marks my 1 month + 1 day anniversary of my Hooters CC.  I currently have a $1,500 CL (low ), and I would love to raise it.

I went online and looked around, but I did not see a Hooters LUV button (please, lets keep it clean on the replies).  Am I just missing it, or do I have to call and request a CLI?

Also, has anyone had any luck with a CLI through them by calling or online?  If so, any tips or tricks?

I called to find out their policy and they said they review accounts every month.

Though they did ask for my info and gave me one while on the phone and my account is only 2 weeks old. Went from 5000 to 6250.

was it a hard pull for the requested cli?

Soft, didn't even have to ask. She said it would be a soft pull, that's the only reason I said yes since I have like 8 inquiries or something like that in the past month, thanks to a car dealership running my credit though I went in there preapproved and told them that as I walked in.

I just called them, and the rep said it would be a hard inquiry if the consumer requests it.  I asked if it could be recoded, and she said "no".

I will wait for a while longer in hopes they will automatically bump up the credit line.

I just received my Hooters card with an $1100 CL and 25.5% APR. I was wondering if I could ask for a credit line increase before activation or drop interest rate? I am not happy with either and if they stay the same I guess I will use and payoff every month. My Capital One has no interest on all purchases until 2009.

Should I try to negotiate the CL or interest? Or sock drawer only?
