Hooters Recon.

Anyone have a back door number? I was recently denied, but have plenty of people get one with a lower score.

Re: Hooters Recon.

I don't think Hooter's has a backdoor number. The regular CS line 1-800-850-4668 should work.

Did they say why?

Re: Hooters Recon.

Hooters doesn't list reasons on their denial letters, but they do tell you that you can write to them within 60 days if you want to find out why.

Re: Hooters Recon.

I was declined on my first attempt (over a year ago) and it was for not having 2 tradelines reporting.

More recently, we have seen members report denials for having a new mortgage within the last 4 years.

Well, the first clue, would be when they pulled your credit report and saw they were not there. Smiley Wink

Do you have any cards that report to the bureaus? Sorry, I forget if you are just starting out.

It's not that you can't have two tradelines that are not reporting.  It's that you have to have at least two tradelines reporting.

Stef was saying she was declined because the number of tradelines she had reporting was less than two, not because she had two secret tradelines that weren't reporting and they somehow found out about it. Smiley Tongue

Who's on first?

Re: Hooters Recon.

Well, CJ is a revolving account, so that is good. Does it show up on your reports? You have to actually order something from them first.
