How Different Are We myFICOans?

Hello all...Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

AAoA, utilization, pay before/after statement cut, inquiries...are these things of concern to the general population as much as it is for us...lol? Before I came here, I was cluless as to any of these things. IME, most if not all of my friends don't give a second thought to any of the topics discussed here. Of course, their credit is not as good as it can be. Are we a breed apart, or just obsessed...lol? Thanks as always for your comments.

Re: How Different Are We myFICOans?

It's enough of a difference of "us" and them that I recommend my friends to join "us" all the time, if they show any amount of curiosity about this whole "managing your credit" thing.

Re: How Different Are We myFICOans?

Before I got here I only had a WF rewards card. I have always paid in full. I still don't bother with paying before the statement cuts.

+ 1 Me neither unless I am preparing for an app spree, which is only about once a year.

As with many areas, there are degrees of expertise.   In some places this is considered very much the "beginners" forum, where few of the advanced "important" things are discussed.   But what is here works for many, in the same way as the general population are fine with the their level of knowledge!
