i applied for the rise card 2 days after it was annouced 1? 2? years ago and was declined.  It looks like i am going to wait 15 months til the record falls off my credit and try. hopefull I will revive this thread july 2026

Once you get back in and your first card ages for about six months you might find you'll be inundated with offerings for new Chase cards.  In the 15 months since I got back in I've probably received at least six or seven offers for new cards; the most recent of which was this morning for a Slate Edge.  I took advantage of the first offer after I got my CSP and picked up a CFU, but none of the other offers they've sent my way have had any appeal.
