I've never had a Chase product and was denied 2 months ago and 8 months ago for Freedom... citing my 6+ year old BK13 and too many INQ's as the result of my new car purchase in January. I attempted to recon and requested a get in the door $500 Freedom and was still denied.
They'll be throwing cards at me in another 4-6 months when EE has my Ch 13 falling off my CR and my scores shoot up to 750+.
Honestly though I don't even know if I want a Chase card... I've seen so many horrror stores about account closures and what not and I am quite happy with the lineup of prime lenders I currently have.

When they start sending you pre-quals a few months from now call them and be like: "Oh, so NOW you want me!! Well forrrrrrget it!" Lol.
3 personal and one business. Thinking about adding one more business and one more personal, although I will probably close one of my personal ones at some point over the next several months as well.

Why does Chase make y'all nervous? I am just starting my credit relationship with them. What should I be aware of??
Just let chase get to know you a bit. Some of their products they won't give to you without at least a years worth of active credit revolver history. You want to try to optimize your report before apping with chase because they can give you high initial credit lines. This will be important for later apps so that you have credit you can move around if you hit your ceiling. Getting a chase card with a lower limit sucks because it will usually take a HP to get a CLI, so its best to make a good first impression when apping.
1 Chase original and 4 co-branded ones. >$50K in total CL. Want to add the Freedom eventually.
