So I have a total of 8 cards. I'm trying to cut down to 5. Thinking about closing the local bank CC, penfed CC (its sucks now due to the new rewards), and consolidating the Citi cards.
3 ...with the possibility of doing 4 max. currently:
ccards
capOne - MasterCard & Visa (platinum)
Amex - Blue Everyday
edit: HRC BankAmericard Visa Signature
charge
edit: Amex Green
debit
Fidelity (Visa)
Congressional FCU (Visa) & LOC
I usually operate around 7-12 % utility but currently i am at a two-year all-time high of 25 % utility....which isn't saying much since I have such low CLs.
4 major CC
8 cards total (one of them is a Sears Citi MasterCard...I guess it started out as a store card in the 1980's, but I don't consider it one today)
All of them are revolving.
I'm I the only one who still use my debit card for purchases?
I have 5 cc but I almost always reach for my debit card first.
