Why? The use of Title Case Capitalization?
Is there an accurate (gender-neutral) and yet brief/efficient replacement for "you guys"?
I get it's not ideal...I do...but I have yet to hear a practical alternative.
I guess a simple "person" or "people" for plural is too much to ask for

Are metal cards consideree shiny pokemon then?
Yes.
I choose you, Chase Sapphire Reserve!
* Chase Sapphire Reserve used trip cancellation insurance. It's super-effecrive. *

I just had my Savor limit reduced from $28.5k to $10k for no negative reason related to me. If I had 3 cards and this happened to 1 or 2, I would be in a real pickle. Each person has their own reasons and every portfolio is diiferent.
DON'T WORK FOR CREDIT CARDS ... MAKE CREDIT CARDS WORK FOR YOU!

Forget about it. Wrong forum.

There is no "correct" answer to this one, @Anonymous
I've currently got 39 open credit card accounts. There was a reason to open each of them, and I'm not going to try to explain them all.
February/March of 2021, I'll be opening more.
Every profile is different.
"How Many Credit Cards Does a Guy Need?"
As many as I'd like 😆.
Nah..not really. It's lender depended if you are considered to have too much available credit. Normally it's the small CUs that whine about it IME.
And as @AverageJoesCredit says.
Synch shut downs have nothing to do with the number of cards. I have no idea how they pick and choose to shut down CCs.
They keep trying to give me more!😂
I achieved what I set out to do. Now I'm slowly closing some of mine down. I'll let the ones that don't have AFs close themselves for none use.
And continue to use my favorites in the stable.
"Y'all" might work. Raised in the northeast it definitely feels a little weird and forced, though.
"People" feels a little dismissive to me.
*I like peeps.

Some use credit as an emergency fund. Others have plenty of cash and can afford to not care about small changes to their credit scores.
If someone carries cash as a backup, can afford to PIF, and doesn't travel...one card may be quite sufficient.
I haven't had lenders tell me I have too much credit, but I have personally reached a point where I wouldn't really want more complexity.

The counter argument to this is if someone only has three cards their spend will be concentrated on those three cards instead of spread out over X amount of cards. The likelihood of someone being CLD'd with three cards is less likely than someone who has cards sitting unused for whatever reasons. Believe this is what the OP is talking about
In the end everyone is different on how they want to play the game and you'll see differing opinions that are all reasonably valid
